Jerry Wolfe
Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Supply Chain Strategy for McCormick & Company
At McCormick, Jerry Wolfe supports the development and implementation of supply chain strategies focused on global capability optimization, network partnerships and product portfolio optimization. Wolfe also has global information technology responsibilities, including the operation of a large-scale SAP environment as the company’s primary business services architecture and sponsorship of innovative services that drive value in the business. He has led major transformational initiatives including global business process and systems reengineering, supply chain restructuring and effective integration of acquisitions to support McCormick’s growth initiatives. Prior to McCormick, Wolfe was a partner in the supply chain practice with Ernst & Young where he supported a number of major initiatives at global companies. Before joining Ernst & Young, Wolfe was part of the management team during the first 12 years of Manugistics, where he pioneered advancements in planning practices and capabilities with leading Fortune 500 companies.
John Coyle
Professor Emeritus of Business Administration at the Pennsylvania State University
John J. Coyle was the first person to teach a course at Penn State under the label "Business Logistics." After joining the faculty in 1961, he played an active role in developing Penn State’s logistics and transportation program. Dr. Coyle served as Executive Director of the Center for Supply Chain Research (CSCR) from 1989 until 2000. In 2001, he received the Distinguished Lions Paw Award for outstanding service to the University. He received the Council of Logistics Management's highest honor, the Distinguished Service Award, in 1991. He served as Special Assistant for Strategic Planning to the president of Penn State from 1983 to 1986 and from 1989 to 1991. During 1982 to 1987 he served as Assistant Dean and Director of the Undergraduate Program, and from 1987 to 1989, as Associate Dean in The Smeal College of Business Administration at Penn State. Coyle has also chaired many University-wide committees, and served as chairman of the Faculty Senate. Dr. Coyle has written more than 100 publications and provided in-house educational programs for more than 300 companies. Coyle is President of CLSA Associates, a Supply Chain and Logistics Consulting Company. He is also a member of the Board of Sears Logistics Services Company, ChemLogix, and Avicon.
